Case Samples
As lawyers in the firm, we think a lot about the appropriate legal

unique approaches we have taken in cases. We have collected here for you some
examples of various legal work product we have drafted for different cases.
- Orange County's most prominent personal injury attorneys secured the largest
Federal Tort Claims Act verdict in history -- over $54,000,000 -- and when the
Government appealed, the plaintiff's lawyers retained us to protect the verdict.
Here is our appellate
brief. And we won.
- We have represented a U.S. Senate candidate in a lawsuit filed against him by
Don Henley of the Eagles. The case involves copyright fair use and free speech
principles. Here is our motion to dismiss filed against part of Don Henley's
lawsuit.
- We litigate many patent cases and often file claim construction
briefs. Here is one we presented in a patent case involving musical
marching band equipment, which utilized graphics heavily. We prevailed
in this claim construction battle before the Court.
- We represented X17 in a high-profile copyright infringement lawsuit
against Perez Hilton. Here is a copy of that lawsuit.
